زهر | BLOSSOM tells the story of Gharbi, a young man in Tunisia, and Lauren, a young woman in London. Connected through their art and creativity, the audience is invited to see that despite the different cultural and socioeconomic contexts in which we live, we share the same struggles, emotions and have the same values. The film can still be seen on the Raindance Player till Aug 21 here

ABOUT

The film was made as part of Dual Netizenship supported by the British Council and premiers at Raindance Film Festival on 28 April 2021.

No Ordinary Experience co-convened the process, alongside Bird by Bird Projects in our capacity asa supplier to the British Council DICE network. We designed creative sessions where young people across countries could share their commonalities and explore their creative connections.

We also held the wider project team in ensuring the big decisions around the film (themes, title, artistic process) felt balanced and supported the complex production process of making a film online, across two countries and three languages, during lockdown.
